Hypocrisy or real: Kimberly Jones has no love for Curtis Jackson
The bad blood continues between Lil’ Kim and 50 Cent. Though the rappers paired up for the 2003 smash “Magic Stick,” the relationship between the two quickly disintegrated, and 50 Cent dissed Lil’ Kim in
performances. In a recent interview with The Associated Press before she was incarceraed in
federal detention center to serve a year-and-a-day sentence for perjury - Lil’ Kim made it clear there would be no duets in the future between the two.
“I can’t front. I don’t have a lot of respect for 50 Cent because his music is hardcore … violent,” said Lil’ Kim. “And I love his music sometimes, but I feel like in his personal life, his real life, he carries
that on, and that’s not a great message, you know what I mean? I think he promotes it.”When asked about the beef between the two, she said: “How can a man have beef with a woman? Whatever, that’s just not cool,” she said.
“If I was selling six, seven million records, I’m not mad at anyone! How can you still be angry at people, still want to come at people? You’re making money, you’re selling millions of records, you should do
something with that leverage,” she added.Lil’ Kim knows plenty about rap feuds - it’s one of the reasons why
she’s incarcerated. The rapper convicted of lying to a grand jury investigating a 2001 shootout involving members of her entourage and a clique loyal to her nemesis, rapper Foxy Brown.
The 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, entered a federal detention center in Philadelphia on Sept. 19. She released her fourth album, “The Naked Truth,” last week.

Ok after you have read the above article.... [pause] This is what I thought. My grandmother told me if you live in a glass house don't throw stones. Straight up...Kim aka Ms. Frank White needs to put the rock down. As I crack up with laughter. This is the female who released Hardcore, Notorious K.I.M, and Labella Mafia. This is the same female who tells us over and over about the love of her life the Notorious B.I.G (love you BIG RIP) who was a hardcore MC and died violently, and since violence & love has touched her life so... I just expected more then those weak statements.
Image is everything in this business hence her sex-driven image, her hardcore gansta girl image. However she walked the line in part because some of those stories are a part of her-I assume. Watch VH1 Driven on Lil Kim. It will tell you she had to transport for dealers etc. Then her real life loyality (in which no one was loyal to her) was tested. And according to the streets Kim passed. She passed on some real hard core sh*t that went on in her life. That is why she is doing some real-life jail time.
Therefore her actually judging Mr. Curtis Jackson is a joke. Wake up girlfriend. You sound like a preacher minstering to the flock, and dipping in the collection plate. Part of the image you promote is a part of you, and I guess it is the same for him. In other words maybe you should be able to relate more. For instance.....it would seem in tune to say when we reach a certain level of success it is hard for one to cut certain ties or change a certain behavior or mentality when that is all you have known. Then I would be able to understand her point.
For the record...I like some of Lil Kim's and some of 50cent's music.
